Hi! I’m Leah Nawy, an independent songwriter, performer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in NYC. I offer private music lessons for all ages, with a focus on creating a fun, informed, and effective learning experience. Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to sharpen your skills, I tailor each lesson to your unique goals, pace, and interests.
With 10+ years of live stage experience, a BFA in Performance from The New School, and a Master’s from BerkleeNYC in Songwriting & Production, I combine formal training with real world music experience. My teaching is rooted in compassion, flexibility, and creativity — designed to build confidence, skill, and joy in music-making.
Lessons are offered in-person and online, with flexible scheduling and the option to learn from the comfort of your home.
